Three generations on one cliff
Since 1962
One family, many lemons
Anna and Vincenzo opened six rooms above the cove in 1962. Guests came for the view and stayed for Anna’s cooking.
Today their grandchildren look after 24 rooms and suites, a garden kitchen and a spa carved into the rock. The family still lives upstairs, and there is always someone at reception who knows your name.

Through the years
Six decades, one front door
1962
Six rooms above the cove
Anna and Vincenzo open a guesthouse for fishermen’s families and the occasional lost traveller.
1978
The lemon terraces
Forty trees go into the hillside, and the kitchen starts cooking only what grows on them.
1994
A spa in the rock
An old storeroom cut into the cliff becomes the Salt Grotto, with its own saltwater pool.
2019
Twenty-four rooms
The third generation restores the house, adding the Cliff Suite and the villa without adding a single floor.
How we keep house
Small things, done properly
No wristbands, no buffet queues, no rush - just a few habits we’ve kept since the beginning.

Slow by design
Breakfast runs until eleven and check-out until two. Nobody will hurry you out of the pool.

From the terraces
Lemons, herbs and tomatoes come from our own garden, and the fish from the boats in the cove below.

Made nearby
Ceramics from Vietri, linen from a weaver in the next village and wine from small family vineyards in Campania.
The people you’ll meet
Family, mostly. And Lucia.
